Glossybox April 2015

I haven't posted in months so I used the arrival of my Glossybox as an excuse to get back into blogging! I've been receiving my boxes every month as usual but by the time I got round to really looking in them and then thinking about blogging, it was always a couple of weeks too late.
Also, some of the boxes can be a bit hit and miss. I was looking forward to this box as it is a collector's edition, based on Hollywood beauties, and I knew it contained a Lord & Berry Lipstick Pencil.

The Lipstick Pencil is in the shade Kiss and is a lovely matte red. I don't get on too well with matte lipsticks as they dry out my lips so much but this one seems a little bit moisturising, promising! I'm going to a rockabilly themed hen do soon and needed a red so this has arrived at the right time.
The other item that caught my eye is the eye liner from POP Beauty. One end is the liner and the other is a smudger, which I think could be lovely for a smoky eye and will definitely make blending easier. I'm not too sure I could just do a cat eye flick though as it is a kohl pencil, personally I prefer a longer lasting liner (kohls smudge too easily on my eyes). I will give it a go though!
The other items I received were a nice nude nail polish from Color Club, a body lotion from IDC and Astral Original Face and Body Moisturiser. So two moisturisers but I'm sure I will use them judging by how quickly I'm using my stash!

What did you receive in your Glossybox? I'm intrigued to see the other shades of the Lord & Berry Lipstick Pencils, I may have to buy some!

Epic Break From Blogging!

Guess who's back.. Back again...
Yes it's me! After about a 9 month break, I am back to blogging. I hadn't planned on taking such a long break but I just felt like my blog was a bit boring and the photos were awful, so I could never take ones of my face/makeup as they just didn't look nice. I'm not one of those people that takes amazing photos anyway, I can never quite get them to look good but I have a lovely new camera so figured I would try this blogging business again and see how I go.

We also moved house finally! In June 2014 we got the keys to our first home together and we love it. We painted every room in the house straight away and also put decking and a new fence in the garden, so last summer was a very busy one and I didn't have anything interesting to blog about, nor did I have the time. Now things have quietened down a bit, I'm going to try and do a few blog posts here and there and see how I go. Who knows, I may actually do a little better this time!
